Input Voltage: Not applicable (receives signal passively)
Waterproof Rating: IP65 equivalent (depends on model version; resistant to humidity and dust)
Electrical Performance
Return Loss: Better than –10 dB across GSM frequency bands
Efficiency: Typically above 70 % in open-air conditions
Cable Attenuation (RG174): Approx. 0.5 dB per meter at 1.8 GHz (minimal due to short length)
Bandwidth: Covers entire GSM/GPRS quad-band range without tuning
Resonance: Centered near 900 MHz and 1800 MHz
Mechanical Characteristics
Connector Mounting Type: Bulkhead mount with washer and nut for secure fixing
Connector Material: Brass with nickel plating for corrosion resistance
Cable Jacket Material: PVC or Teflon, flexible and weather-resistant
Antenna Body Type: Straight monopole type
Weight: Approx. 25 – 35 grams
Installation and Mounting Notes
Mount the antenna vertically for the best signal strength.
Ensure the antenna is placed at least 10 mm away from metallic surfaces to avoid detuning.
If installed inside an enclosure, position it near an RF-transparent surface (plastic window or top cover).
Avoid sharp bends in the cable to minimize signal loss.
For maximum performance, route the RG174 cable away from high-frequency or high-current traces.
