1. AS608 Fingerprint Reader Sensor Module fingerprint features

The fingerprint algorithm extracts feature from the acquired fingerprint image and represents the fingerprint information. The storage, comparison and search of fingerprints are all done by operating fingerprint features.

2. Fingerprint processing consists of two steps: fingerprint registration and matching (in which matching is broken down into two steps: fingerprint comparison (1:1) and fingerprint search (1: N)).

The fingerprint sensor is used to enter the fingerprint image when a match is made, and the fingerprint module’s fingerprint image is then compared with it in the module to be validated and processed (if it matches with a module specified in the module, it is referred to as fingerprint comparison mode, or 1:1 mode). The module provides the matching result if matching with many modules, or 1:N mode, is referred to as a fingerprint search (pass or fail).
